According to readme i should use the master branch

im missing the peer-reviewed documentation referenced to in the readme.md file.

Does that mean that this api in not yet ready for production use?

I'd say that we need to update our README.md. 😅

You are free to use the documentation in the develop branch and it is perfectly ready for production use.
