Request to update for Dashboard 2.0

This is a feature request to support the new dashboard 2.0 by default.

Did you try rebuilding the project with that instead ? What errors did you get ?
Must admit I haven't looked at electron for a while so I suspect a load of the dependencies may have moved on and updating may break things.
Happy to look at any PR if anyone wants to contribute,
