mpc optimiser flip flops during curtailment #565
Description
I run the mpc optimiser every 2 minutes on my system to account for changes in solar production (clouds) and non deferrable. I use alpha 0 and beta 1 to put more weight at looking at the real values instead of prediction. This works fine but in case of longer period with negative pricing this can cause flip flop behaviour for curtailment.
So curtailment on, pv sensor drops, emhass no longer sees the need for curtailment, solar inverter goes full trottle again etc...
alpha 1 beta 0 probably fixes things on my system but that way I will loose adapting to unexpected in/decrease in power consumption as well.
Anyone see a slution?
Using set_use_adjusted_pv doesn't help, as it will just change the predictions for the next days downward when curtailing.
