Emitting Metrics for Prometheus #328

Hi all! Was wondering if the metrics that exist within this SDK can be emitted through a port so something like Prometheus could be utilized for monitoring/scaling/etc. I've looked through the repo and it isn't entirely clear to me. Appreciate the time, thanks!
