There is e.g http://hackage.haskell.org/upload#candidates feature

Please don't unneedly bloat package index, everything there stays forever. use git:// packages in stack or fit submodules if you develop multipackage project, and publish the version next day, after you are happy with it.

I've been uploading to check that documentation changes hyperlink externally correctly. Can you suggest an alternative way to do that?

I use cabal upload and an alternative should be just as easy.

Really, I'd be happy to remove versions from the list.

Please keep this issue tracker for issues with the contents of the git repo. If you have an issue with another resource you can message privately or use an issue tracker for that purpose.

For package documentation you can use cabal haddock or stack haddock to generate the documentation locally to check how module docs look like. Candidates feature linked above can be used to see how package page will be rendered on Hackage (as it's a little different from local haddocks).
