@pieterhancke yes absolutely, we are in testing with the new extensions bundle and it will be part of the next build. briandelmsft/STAT-Function#199 There is a preview build that has that function bundle update but there's a few minor bugs in it with some of the new functionality that we are working through. This build will require the use of Python 3.12 as we are planning that as part of that build for longer term support. https://github.com/briandelmsft/STAT-Function/releases/tag/v2.2.6 I would not recommend the preview build for production use cases, but if you'd like to test with it, it is available. |

Hi,
We are getting a notification to upgrade the Microsoft.Azure.Functions.ExtensionBundle from version 3.x to 4.0.0, 5.0.0. The current host.json references 3.*, 4.0.0. Can you please check if newer extensions can be used?
We use the updating capability / WEBSITE_RUN_FROM_PACKAGE to update the function and it will be great of you can update host.json on your next version.
Regards
Pieter
