Plugin doesn't authenticate

I've configured my new app in the developer console as follows:

When I attempt to authenticate in StreamController it allows me to complete the login process, but client authorization / refresh token never populates and the actions do not work.

I'm currently reworking the auth window, it seems to be a bit broken currently.

Linux Mint 25.2
StreamController works like a charm
Installed today the plug-in in StreamController 1.5.0-beta.12
Followed the instructions on: https://github.com/bamarc/SpotifyForStreamController
Copied the Id and Secret and clicked on Login
Nothing worked
Only when i deinstalled the plug-in and installed it new i got that popup from spotify to login
Added what they needed and the popup send me a 6 digit code
Typed that code in and ok
Then i closed the settings in StreamController
Put a command (play/pause) on a button
Started my spotify app on the desktop and started to play a song
Tried to use the play/pause button i just made up but nothing happend

• What have i done wrong, any idea ?
• If you need more information plaese ask and i will respond.

ooh alas it seems like for the time being Spottify has turned off the ability to create new apps: https://developer.spotify.com/dashboard gives a message "New integrations are currently on hold while we make improvements..." Apparently it has been that way for weeks and people in their support forum are grumpy ;-)
