Description

Make autocomplete only when I start typing.
When empty don't, this prevents me to use the 'tab' and 'enter' for new lines

What are you talking about? How can the problem be reproduced. What is the problem. You need to give details as with the description I'm inclined to close this as incomplete.

I am working with IDE 29
When I'm working on PHP, I don't want the autocomplete jump every time I am pressing the tab or space.
(even that using 'ESC' to close that, when writing a lot of code this is most disturbing. It is not the right way)
Also, PHP custom tab is not really working, canceling options not working, and they are not canceled. you can test it, there is no specific scenario, just activate the 'Auto Popup Completion Window' and select the PHP option.
Select 'customize' and deselect few of the options.
The autocomplete still will jump on the cases you deselected.

@drupalvip you need to give exact steps to reproduce. Based on the description I can't reproduce the problem. Steps to reproduce means:

• Steps means steps. Describe the start point, describe what I need to do.
• Assume that the NetBeans installation you describe was not configured (run with --userdir to test with a clean userdir)
• keep assumptions to a minimum, if example code is needed, keep it simple and don't expect people to download random code and execute it
• if necessary provide screenshots to illustrate the problem
