Hello! Thank you for trying out NiCo method.

Can you check the spatial cell names in your data? If they are pure integer number these issue occur.
Make sure the spatial cell names are in string format.
For example in the tutorial data cell names occur as follows:

adata.obs_names
Index(['cell1', 'cell2', 'cell3', 'cell4', 'cell5', 'cell6', 'cell7', 'cell8',
     'cell9', 'cell10',
       ...
       'cell8149', 'cell8151', 'cell8153', 'cell8154', 'cell8159', 'cell8165',
       'cell8166', 'cell8167', 'cell8176', 'cell8198'],
      dtype='object', length=7416)
