A GitHub Actions workflow was added to automatically build and publish PyPI packages on pushes and merges to the main branch. The workflow includes safety checks to prevent duplicate publishes and runs only on the canonical repository. Instructions were provided to set the PYPI_API_TOKEN repository secret to enable the automation.
