8.2.3 Not Working win 10

After using version 7.1.4.0, I reinstalled to 8.2.3 and shut down by clicking the shutdown button. However, it won't run afterward or displays this warning window. It simply won't run at all. Changing all cookie settings to allow does not resolve the issue. Windows 10, no VPN

In latter case please re-open Tribler from the system tray” A message appears, and when you reboot or restart, nothing appears anymore. It was the same even when I switched browsers.

There are a few things that could be causing Tribler to crash on start, I'll list them in order of preference:

1. It seems that recently Tribler has been magically appearing in Windows Defender firewall rules: Web UI is broken on Vivaldi #8809 (comment) It's a good first step to double check that Tribler is not being blocked.
2. When crashing on start-up Tribler will attempt to leave a dying message: if you launch Tribler through the Command Prompt, you should be able to see it. My Tribler 8.2.3 works and there is no message here. However, if you see one, we can help you out.

3. If all else fails: you can go to the %APPDATA%\.Tribler folder and remove the 8.0 directoy. This will destroy your configuration and Tribler search cache.
4. If even that fails: you can even try to remove the entire %APPDATA%\.Tribler directory. This will destroy your configuration and Tribler search cache AND your download entries (only the entries in Tribler, your downloaded files will remain).
