Very slow

I love your highlighting, and the color effects are great. This works very well.
But, whenever your plugin is installed, typing goes super slow. It could take several seconds for a character to show up after being pressed. Because of that, I cannot use this plugin. I would love to though!
Can you help me out at all? I'm running Yosemite OS, Brackets 1.3, and only a few other extensions (Node.js) plugins mostly. Everything works great until I have your plugin installed.

Is it happening with any xquery file? Even with a blank?
Could you please provide exact list of your plugins.

It is happening with every xQuery file.

For instance, use case in point:
I open a new file, save it as .xqy. It is blank. I try to type in anything, such as let $sample := "this is just a sample line". It sporadically freezes from anywhere to just a half a second to several seconds.

However, while not changing any extension settings, if I were to go to a .js file and start editing some JavaScript, I have all the speed in the world. So it's not a problem with Brackets, because it only happens in .xqy files.

I have the following extensions installed:

• htmlbars-syntax
• jonwolfe.file-tree-exclude
• soundbot.xquery
• stephen.epic-night

• zamiere-dark

Having a syntax highlighter is pretty crucial to me, so I really appreciate your plugin. I would love to get it to work correctly.
