No, not related to a problem - animated particles was removed with fancier block particles compared to FBP. I'd really like to see that make a return. It provides consistency across the particles that are created with respect to visual representation and looks better with shaders and texture packs that create a more animated look and feel to the game.

Re-add animated block particles from the original FBP mod.
Describe alternatives you've considered
The only alternative is to return to the original FBP mod - however, the original FBP mod has its own issues, i.e. breaking a bunch of particle effects from dynamic surroundings, which is something that this version of the mod has corrected in its most recent alpha version.
