IoT means connected devices, not connected projects. Either way, how so would they connect? Do you mean a central network where projects can share data with each other?

That would require some server know-how, and for the server to be up most of the time (many of the extensions that use servers currently end up having a lot of downtime).

This used to be possible with the Storage extension but I don't think the server is being maintained anymore (that or it just has insane downtime), so it would be easier for someone to make a new Storage extension server
