+# Open Podcast API Java
+
+A reference server for the [Open Podcast API](https://openpodcastapi.org) written in Java using Spring boot framework and PostgreSQL.
+
+This server is intended as a reference implementation for testing purposes and eventual self-hosting.
+

+> The data structure used in this server is subject to rapid and frequent changes.
+> Do not rely on this server for storing and synchronizing your data.

+## Status
+
+This server is a work in progress.
+It will be updated as new specs are created.
+At the current time, the server supports only simple user registration and subscription management.
