Add Proxy Support and Pass Through Static Auth Tokens

I am behind a corporate proxy.

Switch HTTP client to respect Java system proxy properties so requests work behind corporate proxies. Pass static auth tokens from config through to the authentication handler so users can authenticate with long-lived, pre-existing JWTs.
