Accounting Management System

Overview

The Accounting Management System is a web-based application built with Django to help businesses manage their financial transactions efficiently. It allows users to track income, expenses, invoices, and generate financial reports in a structured and automated way.

Installation

  1. Clone the Repository
  1. Create & Activate Virtual Environment
  • python -m venv venv
  • source venv/bin/activate # On Windows use: venv\Scripts\activate
  1. Install Dependencies
  • pip install -r requirements.txt
  1. Configure Database & Migrations
  • python manage.py makemigrations
  • python manage.py migrate
  1. Run the Server
  • python manage.py runserver

The app will be available at http://127.0.0.1:8000/

Usage

Register/Login as an Admin or Accountant
Add income & expenses
Generate invoices and track payments
View analytics and reports
