During this time, she obtained a Master of Public Health and a Master of Social Work from Florida International University. She received her B.S in Psychology from Florida International University. She has strong interest in the public health sector pertaining to health disparities particularly among the LGBTQ+ community. She has been with ABCD for over 2 years and her role is to help children prepare for fMRI/structural MRI and administer neurocognitive tasks during MRI by using E-prime and administer questionnaires with youth and parent participants covering extensive topics such as substance use, mental health, culture and environment, etc. Lita has graduated with her BA in Psychology in December 2022 and is currently pursuing an AS is MRI Technology.
