Hi everybody! This new issue will track the SLiM 5.2 release process. This release is close to ready, and most changes are now in the master branch; I hope to tag the release by the weekend or so. I'm putting up this issue now to give a bit of advance warning.
I have not yet tagged it, or created a Release on GitHub for it. That probably means that none of you can take action quite yet. I will post here again when those things happen; please stay tuned. Once we're actually ready to roll, here's the little boxes as usual:
If you anticipate being unable to manage the release reasonably soon, or if you anticipate any problems or difficulties with making the installer for your platform, please let me know about your situation. If there is any preparatory work you need to do for this release – updating scripts, etc. – please try to do it now if you can, so that when the time comes to do the release, it can go quickly and smoothly. This release should be very similar to 5.1 in terms of the install/build process, though, so I don't anticipate any problems, or needing any changes to existing release infrastructure.
Tagging @bryce-carson, @grahamgower, @rdinnager.
Thanks everybody!
