What feature or enhancement are you proposing?

Implement a tactile sensor based on FOTS which uses rigid physics but emulates elastomer deformation based on contact depths. Build on top of KinematicSensorProbe

Motivation

more tactile sensors!

closing the real to sim gap

What is the expected outcome of the implementation work?

  • Marker motion
  • RGB tactile image

Additional information

  • FOTS can be quite slow with many markers M. Implement dilate motion as convolution/FFT?
    • to be able to do convolution, need to define a probe/marker points as a grid
