Description
Idea for a new palace style that has been floating around my head. Palaces are a tower starting at ground level (start elevator is always up). Navigation loops horizontally (because you go around the tower), while still retaining sensible geometry for vertical connections. Boss is always at the top of the tower, but there is no big elevator going to the top (ensure maximum elevator length).
Unknown questions remain:
- can there be multiple vertical connections per layer or just one
- what should the distribution be for rooms per floor / number of floors. Does this vary per palace?
- Do we allow negative towers (towers that go down instead)
- What does palaces continue do in this flag (presumably nothing)
This will require some room pool fiddling to ensure that regardless of room pool we can get the up elevator palace entrances and boss rooms.
