[FEATURE REQUEST] problem with search bar and size of rescan button

Describe the new feature

i know that the search bar under "updates" is only for software-updates but usually there are never more updates in a week than 5, and searching them isn't necessary either. maybe the search bar should redirect to the search results of packages or not be there at all.

another problem is the small size of the refresh/rescan button. sometimes i want to be sure that there is no update left and i have to aim for the rescan-button just like in cs 1.6.

faster searching for available packages to install and better accessibility to check for accessable updates.
