Problem

The plugin is not compatible with Bedrock
installations.

Solution

Use the standard WordPress functions (e.g., plugins_url(), plugin_dir_url(), plugin_dir_path()) when referencing plugin directories for enqueuing CSS/JS and in any other paths. Avoid relying on non-WordPress methods for resolving directories.

The commited change should do the trick for you, although we've been using the plugin in Bedrock install withour problems since the beginning. Is there any custom setup you're using?
