Navigation bar buttons not deactivated

After the fake power off, the screen turns off, but the navigation bar buttons (back, home, recents) remain illuminated, showing the phone has not been poweted off.

Phone model: Samsung Galaxy Note 20
Operating system: Android 10

Sorry, I must have missed this issue.
I also still use the navigation buttons and I had handled to cover it too. It seems there might be a different approach required for Android 10.
