Short git hash is missing in the filename #566
Description
The short git hash (e.g., bd9684f) is missing in the filename of the generated AppImages as the $VERSION:
We should not rename the generated AppImage (which would break the update mechanism), but export $VERSION before running appimagetool.
A PR would be highly appreciated.
Maybe you have some time to look at this @sbernhard?
